Hello everyone….my name is Dorine (you probably hadn’t guessed that…duh) and I inherited my love of creating things from my daddy, my mother, my grandparents, aunts and just about everyone else in my family.
I am married to a wonderful husband who supports me in MOST of my adventures and is a talented writer of management books, has his own teaching institute and a business blog called www.ITlever.com. I have an awesome son who keeps us happy and in stitches. Eddie is our miracle and you can read his story at www.EddieSisco.com. Our two cats are also a world of entertainment most of the time and spoiled rotten.
I hope to give you some insight on what I love and love to do and hopefully inspire you to use your creative side. I love to quilt, sew, paint, decorate, shop and collect antiques, spoil and take care of my family.
I belong to the local quilt guild better known as Maury Quilters’ Guild in Columbia, Tennessee. We meet once a month and have a show and tell, sometimes guest speakers, stay and sew projects and work on charity quilts. I have the privilege of heading up the charity quilts for the guild and we give to a lot of local charities such as CASA, local hospices, and local nursing homes.
I enjoy meeting new people, movies with happy endings, reading on my Kindle, Italian food, Cajun food, sunshiny days, beautiful fabrics, and life in general.
First, I heard about your site at ITLever and used the link to get here.
Second, I love your site and you do have a gift for writing and I am glad you are blogging. I look foward to reading and learning about you and your family adventures.
